Information for amateur, community and professional theatre companies interested in producing the plays of Gideon Heath.
Licensing through PGC & the Canadian Play Outlet
Amateur and community performance rights for Gideon Heath’s plays are administered through the Playwrights Guild of Canada and the Canadian Play Outlet.
Theatre companies may obtain script samples, purchase scripts and submit licensing requests directly through the Canadian Play Outlet.
All amateur performance-rights enquiries must be made through PGC / Canadian Play Outlet.

Professional theatre companies interested in producing a play by Gideon Heath should contact the playwright directly regarding performance rights.
Companies may download and complete the Professional Performance Rights Request Form and return it to Gideon Heath for consideration.
Following review of the request, proposed licensing terms will be provided directly to the company. If an agreement is reached, a formal performance licence will then be prepared for signature.
Professional companies are also welcome to obtain script samples or purchase reading copies through the Canadian Play Outlet.
Submission of a request form does not constitute permission to produce the play or grant performance rights.
Purchasing a script or obtaining a script sample through the Canadian Play Outlet does not grant performance rights. Performance rights must be licensed separately before any rehearsal, announcement, ticket sale or performance.
